Belgrade is set to host one of the standout alternative shows of the summer as House of Protection arrive at Dorćol Platz on July 19, 2026 – a band rapidly positioning themselves as one of the most unpredictable and exciting new names on the global scene.
Rather than fit into a genre framework, House of Protection operate as if none of the rules apply at all. Their music pulls from alternative rock, hardcore urgency and contemporary production, but what defines them most is the sense of controlled chaos that runs through everything they do. Live, that translates into something immediate and unstable in the best possible way – performances that feel less like a setlist and more like an unfolding moment.
The project is led by Aric Improta and Stephen Harrison, both already known for their work in influential bands such as Fever 333, Night Verses and The Chariot. With House of Protection, they strip everything back to instinct. No overthinking, no fixed formula – just a simple guiding principle: if it hits in the moment, it stays. That approach gives the band its shape, even as it constantly shifts.
Following their debut EP GALORE, which quickly found an audience far beyond their previous underground circles, the duo have continued to expand their sonic world with Outrun You All. The release pushes further in every direction – darker in tone, looser in structure, and more willing to embrace risk over control.
In less than a year, House of Protection have drawn attention from NME, The Guardian and Revolver, alongside Spotify’s “Artist to Watch” recognition – a trajectory that reflects how quickly they’ve moved from underground momentum into wider international focus. The success of GALORE didn’t lock them into a sound; it did the opposite, giving them permission to move without reference points.
